Aunt Darlene,

My heart is aching for you. You have been blessed with a wonderful mother, and I know she’s in God’s loving hands right now. She was a very special woman, and everyone in the Rolya family has always spoken so highly of her and her kindness.

Just like you were there for me, I want to be a support for you. I love you.

Darlene, Bobby and Mr. Ice,

My prayers are with you at this time. I remember June with fondest memories. Kristy will always remember her.

Dear Darlene,

I wish I could be there to be with you all, but I can’t. I know June has suffered so much and although she will be missed very much, I’m grateful she won’t be suffering any longer. She was always special to me and I’ll never forget the things she did with me when I was little like letting me comb her hair, or the way I “tormented” Thurman. We always used to laugh about that. No matter what she was going through or how she was feeling, she always had a smile on her face. I will never forget that.

Our family always has had a lot of love and no matter how often we saw each other or how far away we lived , we just picked up where we left off. We are very fortunate and blessed.

I’m so sorry for this very personal loss and I want you to know that all of you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Love, Sandy
