I am so sorry for the loss of a wonderful lady. I would see Aunt Mildred every so often throghout the years and she always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. There are many stories ciculating around the family of the times Mildred babysat my father when he was a boy and some of the humorous outcomes of those events. I am sure a few of these will be told again in the next few days. We all miss her, but take solace knowing she has moved on to a better place to be with God.

Love,

Mark Jenson and Charlotte’s son, Ruth’s grandson

I am so sorry for your loss. Having recently loss my own mother, I know the sadness you are experiencing but I also know the peace you will feel in knowing that she is at peace and free of her pain and suffering. I know she must have been very special from the way I heard you speak of her so often. May all your special memories of her and the prayers of your friends serve as sources of comfort to you in the days ahead.

I remember Mildred as a very gracious and lovely woman. Although I moved away from VA to GA 44 years ago, I visited with Mildred at my Fathers home during his funeral and she had not changed still tall and thin like her Mother I saw a picture of Trudy in a group setting with my Dad, Uncle Fayette, Aunt Ethel and maybe Uncle Lindley I am not sure of that and still very sweet and kind. I am sure you will miss her but will remember all the good times with her like I remember with my Mother and Father.

Peace be with all of you,

Love,

Joyce June and Tommy’s sister
