ZELKOWSKI, Mildred Dusci, 78, of Wheeling WV, died Sunday, January 06, 2008 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home.
Born in Wheeling WV on November 17, 1929, Mildred was the daughter of the late Gasber and Bertha Lacava Dusci. She was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church and was retired from Senak-Kanes Furniture Co. Mildred was a very active volunteer at the Family Service Senior Center, Wheeling.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Zelkowski; three brothers, Robert, Joseph and Charles Dusci; one sister, Matilda Hoskins.
Surviving are her stepson, Chester J. Zelkowski and his wife Betty of Mingo Junction OH; her brother, John Dusci and his wife Carol of Wheeling; her sister, Eleanor Pappas of Wheeling; two step grandchildren, John Zelkowski and Douglas Zelkowski.
Friends will be received at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff St. Wheeling WV on Tuesday, January 8, 2008 from 6-8 pm
and Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm where services will be held on Thursday at 11 am with Fr. Eugene Ostrowski officiating. Entombment in Mt Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
