Dear Aunt Shirley & Debbie, I was so sorry to hear about Mike. I wish I could have been at the funeral to give you a hug and my support. Second Corinthians 1:3,4 says, `Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles,` I am praying that you both will find all the comfort you need in His loving arms. Lovingly, Rhonda

Dear Aunt Shirley, Herb, Debbie, Terry & Caitlin,

Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time. I have spent this entire week remembering back to when I was a kid, our visits and vacations. It breaks my heart to think of how long its been since we have all been together. I wish I could be there to somehow help ease your pain. I know Mike is in good hands now, watching over all of us. With love, Laurie, Joel, Ashley and Bradley

Dear Norship Family,

I just wanted to express my condolences for the death of your loved one, Michael R. Norship. Please know that you are not alone. All of us have experienced the pain of losing a dear loved one in death. It is at such times that we may wonder how we can possibly cope. IâÄôm sure you would agree that the Bible can be of great help. Psalm 55:22 says: “Throw your burden upon Jehovah himself, And he himself will sustain you.” So we can pour out our feelings to God who comforts us in all our distresses and promises to help us endure. The Bible further discusses some practical coping skills such as, talking to a trusted friend about your feelings Proverbs 17:17, writing down your feelings as David did following the death of Saul and Jonathan 2 Samuel 1:17-27, and crying which can serve as an emotional release. Even Jesus Christ-when he was on the earth-âÄúgave way to tearsâÄù over the death of his dear friend Lazarus John 11:33, 35. Please know that death is not the end and it sure was not God’s original purpose for humans to die. God purposed that humans live forever on a paradise earth and soon that will be a reality by means of GodâÄôs Kingdom. I hope you have found these words to be of some encouragement. Again, you have my deepest sympathy.

Dear Shirley, Herb, Debbie, Terry and Caitlin,

We are praying for you during this most difficult time in your lives. It is our prayer that the Lord will be your comfort. In the Bible, Philippians 4:7 tells us that, âÄúâÄ_ the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.âÄù

Please let us know if there is anything that we can do for you.

Love,

Ralph

Ralph, co-laboring Minister and friend of ours, has informed us of your and his loss. We and our Church are praying for you all.

In this time please remember what Michael would say to comfort you if he had the chance. I know he would express his love and care for his friends and family. I also know that he would tell you to seek the Peace of God Phil 4:7 that passes all understanding in this time of pain. He would also tell you to seek Peace with God Rom 5:1. This is the place of true comfort.

I just lost my sister and I know this is true and gives strength in our weakness. I also know God cares for us. Jesus is the author of life not death. He loves with a perfect love and He loves you all.

I want you to know that our Church is going to donate Bibles in the name of Micheal. Because of Michael others may find Christ. What a blessing that will be.

May God Bless you all,

Elder

We learned of Michael’s passing through our friends, Ralph and Louise Green. The Lord knows what it is like to grieve when His Son, Jesus Christ, died on the cross for our sins. May He comfort your hearts now. “The Lord has comforted His people and will have compassion upon them in their sorrow” Isaiah 49:13
