As the anniversary of Mike’s passing was just a couple of days ago, I just wanted to express my remembrances and let him know that gas is $3.79 at Krogers. Mike is still with us!
buddy,
when i’m at home, i think about you
because that’s where you would call me sometime.
when i’m at the hospital, i think about you, because that’s where you would call me sometime.
when i’m on the golf course, i think about you, because that’s where you would call me sometime.
when i’m on the river in my kayak, i think about you, because that’s where you would call me sometime.
but there is no call today.
and there will be no call tomorrow.
today and tomorrow won’t be quite the same.
john
buddy,
every life you touched –
you made a little better.

Dear Mary and girls:
Frani and I were very saddened to learn of Mike’s death. Mike was my first friend in Williamsport, and I’ll always remember him warmly. His good humor and advice helped me through some challenging times prior to opening our Mall McDonald’s — and for years afterwards. He was a very special guy and his memory remains special.
Hopefully, a belief in an afterlife and sweet memories will help you all through this very difficult time.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. God bless you all.
Frani, Samantha, Megan and Doug

I was sorry to hear of Mike’s passing. My thoughts and prayers our with your family. My first job was at Elby’s in Muncy twenty eight years ago. I’d get a little nervous when I had to wait on Mike and his family or if we were cleaning and he would show up. I told my kids when they were young clean your rooms like Mr. Boury was coming ….they would just look at my like I lost my mind. I hope he knew how many peoples lives where touch because of him.
I worked for Mike as a server in the Wmspt. restaurant many, many years ago. I was just out of H.S. and not yet ready for college. After two years “in the business” I decided to enroll in college. I gave my notice and Mike teased me by saying that I’d never finish school and that I’d be back for my job. Some may of taken offense to his words, but I knew better. It was his unique way of encouraging me to succeed and prove him wrong which I did. I can still see him strolling through the restaurant proudly toting around a small baby boy whose arm was in a cast. He was his foster child and Mike loved him dearly. He was an inspiring man, quick-witted and sassy! He will be dearly missed by many. My condolences to you all.
I WORKED WITH MIKE BACK IN THE 70’S AT THE ELBY’S ON NATIONAL ROAD IN WHEELING. PERKINS IS THERE NOW. I WAS SO SORRY TO LEARN OF MIKE’S PASSING. I CAN STILL REMEMBER HOW WELL WE ALL WORKED TOGETHER BACK THEN FOR MIKE AND WHAT HIGH REGARDS WE HAD FOR HIM. THOSE WERE WONDERFUL MEMORIES I STILL TREASURE.
It’s never easy giving up those that you love. The memories will help in the hard times, friends and family are with you in your time of sadness. Know that ya’ll will continue to be in my prayers.
Blessings,
Carol Butler……

So sorry to hear of your loss. Mike was a great guy with a big heart. I worked for him at Elby’s in Muncy up until the time he sold it to Wally Smith. Even though I didn’t know him that well, he left a lasting impression on me. He will be sadly missed

,
Mary Ann, Stacey, Amanda and Michelle;
I am sadden to see the passing Of Mike. Mike meant alot to me as a young person coming out of college, giving me my real first opportunity in the work place. I have nice memories of our relationship, he was kind and thoughtful behind the sometime hard exterior. I learned how to run a business from Mike that is so valuable to me today. Mike once said to me that if he died ,do not close the business, Mike would want us all to keep the business of life open. I will never forget the mentoring and life lessons Mike gave to me. Through his example, I always knew family came first. Our hearts are heavy today.
With deepest deepest thoughts;
Love Ron and Pat Cioffi
Mary,
We are so sorry to hearing of Mike’s passing. We have missed seeing him sitting outside at your house on Oak Circle Drive when you moved, he always waved. Austin remembers the time Janie Hendershot brought him to your house and he said Mike was so funny. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Marlene, Ed & Austin Evans

We were really sorry to read about Mike’s passing away. We hope you are all well and we will be praying for you and thinking about you during this great loss. Mike was a good man and will surely be missed. I know he had some health problems when you left Williamsport, so we were glad to see that he enjoyed several years of retirement. Take care of yourselves.

MaryAnn and Girls, We were so sorry to hear of Mike’s passing. Mike was a wonderful man. I always enjoyed working for him. He was tough but fair. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Michael is the father of my newest graduate student at NCSU, Amanda. I only met him just recently. I was complaining about having six cats. On that basis, I think that he thought I was OK. I found him to be friendly, warm and personable and wish that I could have known him better.
Michelle, Brian, Family and Friends – I am so very sorry for your loss. He seemed like a wonderful man. I send my prayers and best wishes to you during this very difficult time. Warmest regards, Tara “TJ” Flynn Condon
Mike was much more than just another patient. He had a freiendly, fun endearing air about him that made everyone instantly like and respect him. I will miss him, his candor, and his wit.
Mike was the best brother a sister could have. I loved hearing him laugh and listening to his dumb jokes.
When things were not going great for me he was always there. Even during his illness he showed great concern for my daughter who is going to Iraq.
He was so proud of his 3 daughter and rightly so because he and Mary did raise 3 wonderful girls. He told me he had a great life and I believed he did.
Everyone I know who knew Mike thought of him as a great guy.
I will miss him but I have so many good memories of him that will keep him in my heart forever.
I love you big brother,
Lynne
mike will be sadly missed by all of us at walmart pharmacy. Take care and God Bless
Mrs. Boury, Stacy, Mandy, Michelle, and family, I was saddened to hear the news of your husband and father. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
My deepest sympathy to the Boury family. Having also been born & raised in the Wheeling area, and having also graduated from Greenbrier Mil Sch it was a long ride between Lewisburg & Wheeling, that we did travel together a few times, I have good memories of spending time with Mike, back in the early 1960’s. Good by, Mike.
Our deepest sympathy on the loss of Mike. I remember finding his size intimidating upon meeting him for the first time but quickly learned his heart and sense of humor were also “super sized”.
Our thoughts & best wishes are with you as you travel thru the grieving and face new routines.
Warm Regards,
OUR THOUHGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. MIKE WAS A GREAT PERSON THANKYOU BOTH FOR HELPING WITH OUR BEREAVEMENT AT ST. BONIFACE OVER THE YEARS.SINCERE SYMPATHY
