Merle N. McConn

McConn, Merle N., 93, of Wheeling,
W.Va., died Tuesday Feb. 8, 2005 in Wheeling Hospital.
He was born in Dallas Pike, W.Va., on March 16, 1911, a son of the late Harry and Bessie Guy McConn.
He was a Presbyterian by faith and a lifelong farmer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Lloyd and Dwight McConn; a sister, Marie Dinger and a nephew, James McConn.
Merle is survived by his close companion and caregiver, with whom he resided, Kathleen Olinski, and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Friends will be received Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 154 Kruger Street, Elm Grove Chapel, Wheeling, W.Va., where services will be held Friday February 11, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. Linda Glass, officiating. Interment will follow at West Alexander Cemetery.
