Dear Marilyn and family…It is with great sadness to learn this morning of Melvyn’s passing. I can remember our childhood years as island boys growing up on the Island, and later on in years when he went out of his way to help me, when I tried to sell insurance. He was a very kind man and will always be remembered in our thoughts. Our Prayers are with you…Dave & Barbara Bringman
Dear Marilyn,
Sally told me of Melvyn’s death. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. May God’s grace and the presence of family and friends in the months ahead be a support. I am sure you will have many memories as Christmas and the New Year approaches. Be gentle with yourself.
Especially to EdnaSorry this wasn’t sooner, but live in Steubenville and don’t get the Wheeling paper. Both my brother Bill and I were saddened to read about the passing of Melvyn. You probably don’t remember us, but we worked with both of you in the “good old days” at HoJo’s. Both of you were two of our favorite people. You have our sincere condolances.

I am very sorry to hear of Melvyn’s death. I was a childhood friend growing up on the Island and attending Blessed Trinity school with Melvyn. We had many wonderful and fun times as children. I know you will miss his presence in your lives. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Though we lost contact after high school I will always remember him as a good friend and an integral part of my childhood memories.
I was very sorry to hear of Melvyn’s passing. I was a classmate at Central and even remember Melvyn from his BT days.
I’m very sorry for your loss.
