I loved my Nannie more than anyone could know. We were very close and did a lot of things together. Long talks on trips, our bowling days, our lunches, all of the times she tried to get me to cook food and wear jewelry, and most of all the time she spent in my chair getting her hair done. I am thankful for that time we had together. I will love her forever and I thank God for relieving her of her pain and suffering. I love you Nannie.
I offer my condolences to Rosie. Carol, Sharon and Cindy. The loss of a parent can hurt, but prayer will heal all pain and suffering. Love you all. AL
I remember eating her chocolate bananas and playing with her toy train set when I was very, very young. I’m glad she lived long enough to experience one of her grand children getting married, I’m sure that meant a lot to her. I will miss her nannyisms at Thanksgiving dinner, things won’t be the same without her.
Love you Nanny,
Adam
I wish to express my deepest sorrow to the lost of your love one. I wish I could have made her one more Italian Love Cake.

I’ll always remember Tilly’s pizzelli; the snowflake-shaped Italian anise pastry she loved to make, eat and give to family and friends.

I’ve never known another grandma to be so in touch with pop culture! Nannie always made sure to call and be sure I was watching whenever someone was on tv. Thank you for everything. You were remarkable. I will miss the pizelles. No one can make them like you.

One image stands out of Aunt Tillie combing Cindy’s long red hair and making sausage curls by wrapping the hair around her fingers. I’d never seen anyone do that, and boy, was I impressed! She loved her family and could make a home for them anywhere in the world. Our hearts are with you. I’m so glad you all were with her at the end.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time. Even though we only knew her a short time, we will miss her also.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
Please be assured our prayers and thoughts are with you all at this moment. Marty and I are in Ecuador but our hearts are with you.

Sharon, I have shard the memory often of my itaian friend and her wonderful family home. I was always happy to be at your house and be part of the love between you and your parents and sisters. I particularly remember your parents italian sauce with pepperoni, chicken legs and vegetables cooking all day but we could eat anytime we were hungry and their sauce made us hungry.
I am sorry for your loss; I know it is hard to say good bye to your sweet mom.
