Mathilda A. Weidman

Mathilda A. Weidman, 92, of Valley Grove, WV, died Wednesday Sept. 18, 2002 in the Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Wheeling.
She was preceded in death by her husband James P. Weidman, in 1985 and several brothers and sisters. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Elm Grove, WV, a former member of the VFW Auxiliary of Wheeling and the Lioness Club of Valley Grove.
Mathilda is survived by her daughter Della and her husband Fred Meisenhelder of Triadelphia, and four grandchildren: Jason, James, Justin, and Jeremy Meisenhelder.
Friends will be received Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff Street, Wheeling, WV. Funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Saturday, 10:00 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Elm Grove, with the Rev. James LaCrosse celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, National Road, Wheeling, WV. Vigil services will be conducted at 7:45 pm. Friday at the funeral home.
