BONACCI, Mary W. ”Nonee” Witenko, 78 of Wheeling, died Friday, Aug. 10, 2001, at Peterson Rehabilitation and Geriatric Center.

She was born Oct. 11, 1922 in Wheeling, daughter of the late Peter and Mary Witenko.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Francis S. Bonacci, in 1971; two brothers, Louis and John Witenko.

Surviving are a son, Frank Bonacci and his wife Marty of Wheeling; four daughters, Camille A. Covington of Wheeling, Marie Bonacci of Buffalo, N.Y., Ann Doughty and her husband John of Swanzey, N.H., and Nancy Bonacci of Moundsville; a brother Stephen Witenko and his wife Catherine of Wheeling; a sister, Ann Long of Wheeling; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Sunday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 154 Kruger St., Elm Grove, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, with the Very Rev. Philip Bumbar officiating.

Interment at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.

Nonee will be missed greatly

by all of us I am sure,

Remembering her care as I grew old

is what I adore,

There were few special people in the world

like her around,

I will never forget her helping, nurturing, and loving

sound.
