Mary ”Mif” Elizabeth St. Myer Tuttle, 72, of National Road, Wheeling, passed away peacefully Thursday, May 31, 2001 in Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling, following a lenghty illness.

She was a homemaker and a Methodist.

Mif was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Lillian Long St. Myer, a son, Terry, in 1992 and by her loving husband, Robert E. ”Bob” in 1996.

She will be greatly missed by all who loved her. Mif is survived by two daughters and their husbands; Bobbie Jean and Ron Didion, and Sandra L. and Mark Ritchie, all of Wheeling, and seven grandchildren; Zach Nickerson and Alan Didion, and Natalie L. and Tiffany R. Ritchie, all of Wheeling; Tria A. Tuttle and her fiance, Steve Shadeed, both of Columbus, OH, Traci J. Tuttle and Sean P. Tuttle, both of Martins Ferry, OH; a great-grandson, Terrell C. Tuttle of Martins Ferry, OH. Also surviving are her best friend of 65 years, Flo Ellen Evans and her family; and two aunts, Jo Ann Rinderer of Martins Ferry, OH and Edna Mae Watkins of Wheeling.

Friends received at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 154 Kruger St., Elm Grove, Sunday from 12-3 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 4th at 11 a.m. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Stone Presbyterian Church, East Cove Ave., Wheeling.

Bobbie Jean, I am so sorry to hear of your mother’s passing. I have a lot of fond memories of growing up with her and you! just across the street. How wonderful that you are back there again. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers during this time.
