Mary Pauluk Kupchak, 89, of Wheeling, died Friday, August 17, 2001, in Bishop Joseph H. Hodges Continuous Care Center, Wheeling.
She was born February 20, 1912, in Montreal, Canada, a daughter of the late Phillip and Dora Sandau Pauluk.
She was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Mount Olivet.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Kupchak, in 1973; an infant daughter, Dolores Kupchak; two daughters, Lee Kupchak and Eleanor D. Kupchak; two brothers, George and August Pauluk; three sisters, Tina Berar, Ann Vasilash and Helen Banasazewski.
Surviving are three daughters, Margaret Wiethe and her husband, Lawrence, of Wheeling, Mary Ann Reynolds and her husband, Cliff of Toronto, Canada, and Jan Sanzeri and her husband, Sam, of Wheeling; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Friends received noon-3 and 6-8 pm Sunday at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 154 Kruger St., Elm Grove, Wheeling, where vigil services will be held at 7:30p.m. Sunday, with Peter Wiethe officiating. Funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at 10 am Monday at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Interment in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.
Although I did not know Mrs.
Kupchak, I remember Mary Ann
in our early working days. I wanted to express my sympathy on the loss of your mother, and pray that the rest of the family is well
and knows that others share
in your loss.
