Mary June Scatterday, 87, of 55801 Cono Mara Drive Bellaire, Ohio, formerly of Powhatan Point Ohio died Thursday June 8, 2006 in Country Club Retirement Center Bellaire, Ohio.

June was born June 15 1918 in Bellaire, Ohio a daughter of the late William Dewey and Margaret Wasser Corbett.
She was a member of the Amity United Methodist Church Steinersville, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her husband William Leslie Scattterday in 2005, a son William Corbett Scatterday in 1997 and daughter-in-law Shirley Scatterday in 1995.

Surviving are two grandsons William Crystal Scatterday and Robert Scatterday all of Powhatan Point, Ohio. Five great grandchildren.

Friends received Friday June 16, 2006 from 2-4p.m. & 6-8p.m. at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory 186 Main Street Powhatan Point, Ohio where funeral services will be held Saturday June 17, 2006 at 11a.m. with Rev. Steve Smith officiating.

Interment in Powhatan Cemetery Powhatan Point, Ohio.

Eastern Star services 7:30p.m. Friday in the funeral home.

I am Harold’s son. I knew June years ago and know she will be missed. I am very sorry about your loss.

i just wanted to extend my deepest sympathies to mary june’s family and friends. her presence will be missed even more by those she shared her personal life but she will always live on our memories.
