Mary Jane ROTHERMUND, 74, of Bellaire, OH, died Friday at Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.

She was born June 26, 1931 in Moundsville, WV, a daughter of the late John Thomas and Ann Kark Callahan.

Mary Jane was a homemaker, a member of Catholic Daughters, CWC, Volunteer at Bellaire Senior Center, AARP, taught CCD, was a Eucharistic minister, a small faith group leader and member and was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church.

In addition to her parents, Mary Jane was preceded in death by her husband James Elliot Rothermund, Sr., in 1996.

Surviving are 5 children; James E. Rothermund, Jr., and his wife Cathy of Mt. Olivet, WV, Barbara Marinacci and her husband Dominic of Bellaire, Edward M. Rothermund and his wife Dianne of Pittsburgh, Joseph K. Rothermund and his wife Jodie of Dublin, Mary Beth Cameron and her husband Kevin of Mercer, PA, a brother John Thomas Callahan, Jr., and his wife Janet, of Mt. Olivet, 14 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Friends will be received on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Bauknecht Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory, 441-37th St., Bellaire.

Funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 9:30am in St. John Catholic Church with Msgr. Gene Mullett as celebrant.

Burial will follow in Halcyon Hills Memorial Park, Sherrard, WV.

A vigil service will be held on Monday at 6:15 in the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. John Grade School or the Bellaire Senior Center.

I want to send my sincere sympathy

to you all.Mary Jane was a friend of mine when I lived in the Valley.

I got to see her again this past summer when I was visiting my sister,Ethel Mae Sabinski.

I’ll remember her in my prayers,and

her family.

So sorry to hear about your mothers death.Your family was one of the first we met when we moved to Ohio.Joey and Mark have remained close all these years.Your mother was a wonderful hardworking woman may God Bless you all in your time of sorrow.We never know when the Lord will decide it is our tme.May we all make everyday count.
