Dear Mrs. Burke & Family,

I apologize for having to extend my sympathies via an email, but I have been out of commission these last several days with a back problem. Otherwise, I would have paid my respects in person.

Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this time. We are fortunate to have had relationships with our families that will remain treasured, it is just a shame we had to see them suffer.

May all your memories be a source of great comfort to you in the coming days.

Most Sincerely,

Maureen
