Mary H. Webb

Chesapeake- Mary Hazel Webb, 81, of Chesapeake, passed away peacefully at her home with her family on Thursday, September 26, 2002 under the loving care of her daughter, Susan.

She was a Christian and a member of the Azalea Garden Church of God.

She was born in Pulaski, Virginia on November 11, 1920. She was preceded two months ago by her husband, Rev. Ralph M. Webb, Sr; her parents, John and Minnie Morehead; two sisters, Martha Morehead and Nannie Hannah; and two brothers, Johnny and Clyde Morehead.

She was a devoted wife of 63 years and a loving mother to her five children, Ralph Webb, Jr. and his wife, Shirley of Norfolk, Donald Webb and his wife, Dale of Altavista, Peggy Koke and her husband, Jeff of Chesapeake, Susan Webb of Chesapeake and Daniel Webb and his wife, Debbie of Chesapeake; 11 grandchildren; Vanessa VanWart and her husband, Kenny of Norfolk, Heather Reynolds and her husband, Scott of Altavista, Hollye Carter and her husband, Jeremy of Chatham, Joshua and Jeremy Koke both of Chesapeake, Candice Daughtry of Portsmouth, Jonathan Bellomy of Portsmouth, Kelly Guinto and her husband, Richard of Odessa, TX, and Amber, Amanda, and Amy Webb all of Chesapeake; six great grandchildren: Christopher and Jessica VanWart of Norfolk , Casey and Kathleen Daughtry of Portsmouth, Leah Guinto of Odessa, TX, and Ashton Reynolds of Altavista; special niece, Katherine Slusher of Indianapolis, Indiana and several other nieces and nephews.

She gave of herself to others and though she will be sadly missed, we have faith in God that we will see her again. God gave her the peace and the battle is won.

The family is very appreciative to Susan Webb, daughter, for the care giving for the past year. We

Dear Peggy and Jeff,

I just want you to know that you are in our prayers now and will be for the next few months. You both have had an incredibly difficult year but your faithfulness through it all is a blessing to many. We will keep in you in our hearts and prayers. Just remember we are holding your rope.
