Dear Ones —

It was always a blessing to visit Mary at Liza’s Place. We usually just had prayer very close to her better ear, since it seemed more difficult for her to hear the hymns that I shared with voice and guitar; but, my favorite visit with Mary was during this past Christmas season, when I got to sing the “Ave Maria” for her, in Latin. I put my guitar down, got very close to her ear, and sang a cappella; and, at the end of the song, she looked at me through her tears, and she thanked me for blessing her. That day, I left her room knowing that I was the one who had been blessed; blessed to be close to God’s precious Mary Jepson.

May God’s peace and blessings be yours during this most tender season; and, may He give you many lovely memories, so that you may always have roses in December.

Ever hoping . . .

Always in Jesus,

Maryann Liza’s Place Music Ministry Volunteer

Great memories of Mrs Jepson driving Ed and I to ice skating at Wheeling Park on the ponds before the rink was built. She always seemed the perfect mom.

May she rest in peace
