Dear Ed and children and all members of the Gress and Miller families: We were away and just recently found out about Mary Ellen. There is nothing I can say so please know that she was loved and admired by me, as well as everyone else she knew. She was a beautiful person, the classiest of ladies and she had a smile and kind word to all she met. Her physical presence is gone but she is still “here”. May all your memories sustain you until you re-unite.

Dear Ed and Family,

My heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to you. I know that there is nothing I can say or do that can take away the pain. Just know that she is not suffering any more. Know also that she was a good and loving person and she is with the Father. God bless you at this difficult time!

Dear Ed and family, my heartfelt

Sympathy to all of you at this very sad time in your life. There are no words that can take your pain away, but God will give you the strength you need to get through this ordeal. I am sorry I won’t be able to attend the visitation as I am in Columbus staying with my granddaughter while David and Cari are on vacation. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Take consolation in knowing that she is no longer suffering and she is in a better place where you will all meet again someday. Love to all,Annette Ice

I’m deeply saddened to hear of Mary Ellen’s passing. She had just popped into my mind the other day. Back in high school, it was my mission in life to go on Saturday mornings and get doughnuts and a coffee cake. She was usually there working. I’ll remember her smile.
