Mary Ellen Doyle

Norfolk- Mary Ellen Doyle, 73, died Jan. 5, 2003 in a local hospital.

She was a member of the Grace and Hope Mission Church in Norfolk and was the widow of Linwood Clifford Doyle.

She is survived by her seven children, Alice Faye Vermeire of White Salmon, Washington, Evelyn L. Brown of Starkville, Mississippi; Linwood A. Doyle of Norfolk, Charles T. Doyle, Phyllis A. Broadbent, Donna J. Addison and David A. Doyle all of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Helen Dozier and Joe Ann Sawyer of Virginia Beach; brother, Jerry Wilson of Maryland; 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.

The visitation will be held in Altmeyer Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 7, 2003 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. The funeral will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, January 8, 2003 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Donations may be made to the church at 2800 Lafayette Boulevard, Norfolk, Virginia 23509.
