Mary C. Rudibaugh

Age: 77

Mary C. Rudibaugh, 77, formerly of Boring Lane, East Liverpool, died at the home of her son in Alliance, OH on Friday, August 24, 2001 after a lengthy illness. She was born in Fairport, OH on March 24, 1924, a daughter of the late Claude Russell and Anna L. Snyder Russell.

Mrs. Rudibaugh was a member of the St. Clair Avenue Church of Christ and the Friendly Circle since 1947, having been treasurer for many years. She retired in 1980 from the Hill’s Department Store where she worked as a sales clerk. Mrs. Rudibaugh was a 1941 graduate of East Liverpool High School.

Her husband, Raymond E. Rudibaugh, whom she married on December 8, 1943, died September 27, 1999.

She is survived by her two sons: Wayne A. Rudibaugh, Sr and his wife, Elaine, with whom she resided and Paul R. Rudibaugh of East Liverpool; a daughter: Linda K. Dickson of East Liverpool; her Grandchildren Timothy L. Dickson of Denver, CO, Wayne A. Rudibaugh, Jr. of Alliance, OH, Crystal Gobley of Alliance, OH and Nicole Wimer and her husband, Wayne Douglas of East Liverpool, OH and her Great Grandchildren Aaron L. Dickson and Joseph Walter Dickson of Denver, CO; Hannah T. Rudibaugh, Kristen M. Gobley and Lauren R. Gobley all of Alliance, OH.

Services will be held at the Calcutta Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Monday, August 27, 2001 at 11:00 AM with Brother Will Montgomery of the church officiating.

Burial will follow in Spring Grove Cemetery.

The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home in Calcutta on Sunday, August 26, 2001 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.

Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alliance Visiting Nurses and Hospice, c/o Alliance Hospital.

Mrs. Rudibaugh was a very special person and I will never forget her or the kindness she showed to me and my family.
