MARY ANN JEFFRIES, 75 of Shadyside, OH, died Wednesday, October 12, 2011, at her home.
She was born March 24, 1936 in Bellaire, OH, daughter of the late Frank and Anna Spisak Kempa.
Mary Ann was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Shadyside.
In addition to her parents, Mary Ann was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Kempa.
Surviving is her husband Alan E. Jeffries, 3 children; Alan T. Jeffries of Bergholz, OH, Beverly Ann Ramsay and her husband Buck of Shadyside, Kristy Marie Jeffries of Pittsburgh, PA, a brother; Thomas Kempa of Shadyside, 3 grandchildren; Jessica Lee Ramsay of New York, Alison Jenny Ramsay of Savannah, GA, and Jamison Lynn Jeffries of Cleveland, OH.
Friends will be received on Sunday, October 16 from 12:00-8:00pm at the Bauknecht Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory, 3900 Central Ave., Shadyside.
Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00am in St. Mary Catholic Church with Father Samuel Saprano as celebrant.
Burial will follow in Powhatan Cemetery.
Vigil services will be held on Sunday at 7:30pm in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Valley Hospice.
