Mary Alice Baker

Baker, Mary Alice Persinger, 79, of Moundsville, WV, died Wednesday, July 14, 2004, in Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Glen Dale, WV.
She was born May 26, 1925, in Moundsville, a daughter of the late Frank and Ruby Tripplett Persinger. Mrs. Baker was a retired employee of the First National Bank, Moundsville, and a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Moundsville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Persinger, and a sister, Minnie Wise.
Surviving are her husband, Leonard V. Baker; two daughters, Connie Miller and her husband, Charles, of Plano, TX, and Teresa Ann Church and her husband, Gary, of Moundsville; three grandchildren, Charles Miller, Jr. and his wife, Kimberly, of Arlington, VA, Chad Miller and his wife, Heather, of Irving, TX, and Julie Goddard of Valley Grove, WV; a great-grandchild, Caitlin Miller, of Arlington; a brother, Ralph Persinger and his wife, Evelena, of Moundsville; several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Friday, at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby-Vance Chapel, 118 Grant Ave., Moundsville. Funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am Saturday, July 17, 2004 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Moundsville, with Rev. Terry Adams, T.O.R, as celebrant. Interment in Riverview Cemetery, Moundsville. Vigil services will be held at 7:30 pm Friday at the funeral home.
