Martin J. Howard VIRGINIA BEACH – Martin J. “Marty” Howard, 56, passed away Oct. 18, 2008. Mr. Howard was born in Woodside, N.Y., Nov. 25 1952. He is survived by wife, Sharon Howard; three stepdaughters Terri Henline, Denise Miller and Christine Means; four grandchildren, Heather Joyner, Christina Miller, Bret Henline and Tanner Miller; and three great-grandchildren, Tessa Joyner, Jordyn Miller and Jasmyn Miller. He is also survived by his mother, Doris Howard; sisters, Donna Mackie and Cathy Collin; brothers, Dan and Jimmy Howard; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will be receiving friends for a celebration of his life at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 5792 Greenwich Road, Virginia Beach, Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. Marty will be remembered and loved by all who knew him.
