Martha Yager Williamson 89, of Bradshaw Avenue, East Liverpool, Ohio, died
Saturday, September 29, 2001 at East Liverpool City Hospital following a brief illness.
She was born in East Liverpool, Ohio on January 28, 1912, the daughter of the late Clement and Theresa Simballa Yager.
A lifelong area resident, Mrs. Williamson was a home maker. She attended St. Aloysius Community Parish and belonged to the 30 + 30 of the church.
Her husband, Charles R. Williamson, whom she married in 1935, died in 1999.
She is survived by a daughter, Mary Jo Gerth and her husband, Craig of Covina, CA, 5 grandchildren; Chad Williamson, with whom she lived, Harry Williamson of Canton, OH, Sandy Williamson of Alliance, OH, Jolyn Williamson of East Canton and Jason and Anne Fletcher of California: 3 great-grandchildren, Alex Williamson of East Canton, Lathan Williamson of Alliance and Alivia Williamson of Alliance.
Besides her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by two sons, Rahn E. Williamson and Harry ”Hap” Williamson; two brothers, Joseph Joe Yeager and Herbert Yeager and one sister, Mary Yeager.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Aloysius Community Parish on Wednesday, October 3, 2001 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Father Bernard Gaeta as celebrant.
Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
