Mark Holloway

Virginia Beach – Mark Holloway, 49, passed away Sunday, February 24, 2008, at home with family and friends by his side.

He is survived by his loving wife, Michelle; their two daughters, Samantha and Savannah; sister, Terry Holloway; aunt and uncle, Alice and Rudy Hagenkoetter; mother-in-law, Charlotte Murray; and brother-in-law, Nick Murray.

Mark was a Master Craftsman in the building and mechanical trades. He could build or repair anything. Hobbies included custom car building, speed boating, and fishing. He was a private airplane pilot and loved to fly. As a business owner, Mark built and installed custom cabinets and later worked for J&G Evans Construction Co. Mark was a member of First Baptist Church, was active in his community, and would help anyone who needed it. His humor is legendary. He will surely be missed by everyone who knew him.

A Celebration of Mark’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2008, at the First Baptist Church of Norfolk, 312 Kempsville Rd., in Norfolk VA, followed by a memorial gathering at the church with Pastor Eric Thomas officiating. Altmeyer Funeral Home, Southside Chapel, is handling the arrangements.
