Coddington, Marjorie J., 75, formally of Wheeling Island, W.V., died Friday, April 1, 2005 in Peterson Geriatric and Rehabilitation Services Hospital

She was born November 20, 1929 in Wheeling, a daughter of the late John and Ruth Sargent.
Marjorie was a member of New Life Fellowship Church, Shadyside, Ohio. She was a retired secretary with Ohio County School System.
Surviving are two sons, Thomas J. Coddington and his wife Jean of Wheeling, Brian L. Coddington and his wife Alice of Arizona; daughter, Ruth M. Wilson and her husband Thomas of Wheeling; two brothers, Thomas Sargent of Wheeling, John Sargent and his wife Hedi of Germany; two sisters, Phyllis Wolf of Charlotte, NC, Louise Freeman and her husband Wes of Mountain View, CA; five grandchildren, Brent Wilson and his fianc

Mom – You were the greatest mother a son could ever ask for. Your life was an example of how we should all live. Thanks to you and your numerous prayers, I am a Christian and look forward to the day we can meet in Heaven. I’ll always love you and will miss you every day for the rest of my life.

Mrs. Coddington was a neighbor of mine on N. Huron Street for a very long time. She was such a wonderful person and certainly one that I will never forget. I am truly sorry for your loss. My deepest sympathies are with you.
