Mario Cerasoli, 90, of St. Clairsville, Ohio died Thursday January 26, 2012 at his home.
Mario was born December 1, 1921 in Bellaire, Ohio a son of the late Dominic and Louise Barbiero Cerasoli.
He was retired from the former Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Benwood Mill, a member of the Sons of Italy Lodge #754 Bellaire, a tax preparer for AARP members, a Catholic by Faith and a WWII Marine Corps Veteran.
Preceding him in death was a son, Paul Cerasoli, two brothers, James and John Cerasoli, three sisters, Rita Sharppe, Carmela Cerasoli and Vicenncina Cerasoli.
Surviving is his wife Karen Hill Cerasoli, three sons, James Cerasoli of Stevensville, Montana, John Cindy Cerasoli of Martins Ferry, OH, Michael Peggy Cerasoli of Napa, California, four daughters, Janet Chuck Husted of Bridgeport, OH, Rita Cerasoli of Missoula, Montana, Debora Ralph Perillo of Margate, FL and Sue Tom Reasbeck of Locust Grove, VA, two sisters, Carmela Cerasoli of Bellaire, OH and Francis Bibbo of Rayland, OH, Nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received Saturday from 2-4p.m. & 6-8 p.m. at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory 441 37th Street Bellaire, Ohio where funeral services will be held at 1p.m. Sunday with Deacon Paul Smith officiating.
Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
Sons of Italy Service at 7:15 p.m. Saturday followed by a Vigil service at 7 :30p.m.

God Bless you in your time of loss. Mario was always very nice to me back when I lived in Bellaire. I’m sure he will be up in Heaven with all the boys making a big batch of Sausage to celebrate his wonderful life.
