HEARTFELT SYMPATHIES TO YOU DICK AND THE ENTIRE FAMILY. MARILYN HAD A POWERFUL INFLUENCE IN THE COMMUNITY AND ON THE LIVES OF YOUNG POLICE OFFICERS LIKE I WAS WHEN I FIRST MET MARILYN WHILE WORKING THE HAMPTON PD. WE SHARED A SIMILAR VISION IN MAKING HAMPTON ROADS A SAFER PLACE AND TAKING DRUNK DRIVERS OFF THE ROAD. SHE WAS ALWAYS A WELCOME ADDITION TO CHECK POINTS AND THE TIMES SHE DID RIDE-A-LONGS WITH ME. SHE WILL BE MISSED!

Please accept my prayers and with God’s wisdom. I loved Marilyn and Dick for 27 years. I was only her cleaner but became close through the years. Dick and Marilyn helped me when my daughter, Cheryl passed. They are truly kind and loving people of God.

What a blessing Marilyn was to the law enforcement community on the Peninsula with her heart-felt dedication to MADD. It was always so nice to be greeted with a smile and kind words each year at the MADD law enforcement cermeony that Marilyn was traditionally such a big part of! I offer my prayers to the entire Jackson family.
