Marie Stubenrod, 88, of Shadyside, Ohio, died Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at her home.

Marie was born March 1, 1920 in Bellaire, OH, a daughter of the late John E. and Ann Sindelar Holub.

She was a homemaker and a Methodist by faith.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Albert L. Stubenrod, a grandson, James Albert Stubenrod and a brother Edward Holub.

Surviving is her son, James Susan Stubenrod of Shadyside, OH, a granddaughter Jamie Joe Grew of Shadyside, OH, three half sisters; Anna Mary Traylinek and Jackie Holub both of Bellaire, OH. and Joan Poff of Indianapolis, IN.

Family will receive friends Wednesday 4p.m.-8p.m. at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory 3900 Central Avenue Shadyside, OH. where funeral services will be held at 11a.m. Thursday with Pastor Ron Morgan officiating.

Interment will be in Powhatan Cemetery Powhatan Point, OH.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Shadyside Fireman’s Association.
