To all of Anina’s family: She was my Grandma Iannarelli’s best friend and I loved her humility, beauty, kindness and grace. She was truly one of the sweetest ladies I knew and when I would visit with Grandma, Anina would often be there. I loved spending time with her b/c she always made you feel loved. The world has lost a special person but God has another angel. My deepest sympathies to your family……..
Sincerely

Zia Anina was my mother’s sister and such a dear sweet person. I remember when she came from Italy she brought me a gold chain with a medal which I still have and wear even today so many years later. We visited her often in Shadyside when I was growing up and she was always so welcoming to us. She always had 7-UP which I had never tasted until I went there. As the years went by, life happened and we didn’t get to see each other as often as before, but I still hold her in my heart. My last visit with her was the weekend before Christmas, 2008…and even though she was so frail and bedridden she whispered to me as we were visiting, “maybe we should make a little bit of spaghetti.” That was Zia Anina, always thinking of others. I will always remember her beautiful smile and her kind and gentle heart. I love you Zia. Love, Linda
Zia Anina was my mother’s sister. She was very dear to me and I am sad that I lived so far away from her. On our visits to Pennsylvania we visited her and enjoyed our time together. I remember when she came from Italy. We all waited anxiously at my grandmother’s house Her Mom & Dad’s house for her to arrive. She was gracious and kind and I still have the wristwatch that she gave me many years ago. She was always giving and kind to my family and me. Of course, when we arrived at her house, the first thing she wanted to do was feed us. I remember the last time we visited her, we brought pizza for lunch and she was not real happy with us. She would have rather cooked for us. I will always have a special place in my heart for her. I love you Zia!!!
Though Zia will be sadly missed by family and friends, she will live on in our hearts and our memories.
I wish to extend my most Sincere Condolences to her family.
