WETZEL, Margart V. Martin, 70, of Wheeling, WV, died Monday, March 18, 2002. She was born April 22, 1931, in Bridgeport, Ohio, the daughter of the late Vernon and Virginia O’Neal Martin. She was a former employee of the former Wheeling Stamping Co and a member of St Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Elm Grove, Wheeling. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Wetzel, in 1996; two brothers, Vernon D. and Jack Neal Martin; a sister, Barbara Lavinia Martin; and a grandson, Brody Wetzel. Surviving are three sons, Michael M. Wetzel and his wife Penny, of Wheeling; John Richard "Rick" Wetzel of Ellicott, MD; P. Kevin Wetzel and his wife, Kelly, Of Wheeling; a brother, Lawrence "Ben" Martin of Wheeling; a sister, Patricia Snodgrass and her husband, Russell, of Wheeling; two grandchildren, Bradley Michael Wetzel and Brent Matthew Wetzel, both of Wheeling. Friends received 2-4 and 7-9pm Wednesday at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 154 Kruger St., Elm Grove, Wheeling, where vigil sevices will be held at 7 pm. Funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at 10am Thursday, March 21, 2002, at St Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with the Rev. James LaCrosse, S.M. as celebrant. Interment in Mt Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. You may offer condolences to the family at altmeyer.com.
