Margaret M. Croskey
Age 75

Margaret M. Croskey, 75, of Chandler Street, Columbus, Ohio, formerly of Wellsville, Ohio, died Wednesday, April 23, 2003 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

She was born in Wellsville, Ohio on October 24, 1927, the daughter of the late William H. & Lucy Cooper Barnes.

Living her entire life in the area, until moving to Columbus, Ohio in August 1998, Mrs. Croskey worked as a stamper at Sterling China for 5 years. She graduated from Wellsville High School in 1946 and attended the Wellsville First United Methodist Church. She was a lifetime member of the Eagles Auxilary #772 and a member of the American Legion Auxilary, Post 430 in Bexley, Ohio.

Her husband, William Croskey, whom she married September 13, 1947, died October 14, 1986.

She is survived by four sons, William Croskey and his wife Sandra, Don A. Croskey and Mark Croskey and his wife, Diane, all of Wellsville, Ohio and Jeffrey A. Croskey and his wife Lori of Columbus, Ohio; a daughter, Cressie Barnhart Hoselton and her husband, J.D. of Charleston, WV; a brother, Harry G. "Bud" Barnes of Wellsville, OH; 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren;

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Ada Rickey, Virginia Smith and Mabel Weaver.

Services will be held at the Wellsville Chapel of the Martin-MacLean-Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Saturday, April 26, 2003 at 2:00 PM With Rev. Jerry Penrod of the church officiating.

Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.

The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home in Wellsville, today, Friday, April 25, 2003 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM, where the Eagles will hold a service at 7:00 PM.

Grandma,

i miss you so much. i really didnt get to spend much time with you. but you was a wonderful grandmother. i couldnt believe you just went like that but i know there was a reason.
