Margaret L. Morris

Age 70

Margaret L. Morris 70, of Jennings Avenue, East Liverpool, Ohio died Wednesday, August 8, 2001 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where she had been taken after becoming suddenly ill at church on Sunday.

She was born in Turtle Creek, Pennsylvania on August 16, 1930 and was the daughter of the late Lester J. Grimm and Mary E. Linkenstine Grimm Bryson.

Living her entire life in the area, Mrs. Morris enjoyed being a homeowner, a wife and mother. She was a 1949 graduate of East Liverpool High School and was a member of Calcutta United Presbyterian Church, where she assisted with Sunday School and served as a pianist and a singer. She also played the piano for the Ceramic City Senior Citizens and was former organist at Beechwood Free Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Glenn N. Morris, whom she married July 19, 1953; a son Jeffrey N. Morris of Atlanta, Georgia; daughter, Mrs. Joe Debra Sue Walker of East Liverpool; 5 Grandchildren, Bryan Jeffrey Morris, Christopher Trace Morris, Amanda Kay Morris and Kenny Wayne Morris, all of Georgia and Alexia Marie Walker of East Liverpool, Ohio.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Norman Grimm and Lester J. Grimm.

Services will he held at the Calcutta United Presbyterian Church on St. Clair Avenue on Saturday, August 11, 2001 at 10:30 AM with Rev. Allan Drake of the church officiating.

Burial will follow at Columbiana County Memorial Park.

Friends may call at the Calcutta Chapel of the Martin-MacLean-Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Friday, August 10, 2001 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
