Margaret Louise "Peg" Edwards
Age 78

Margaret Louise "Peg" Edwards 78, of Virginia Avenue, Chester, West Virginia died Friday, November 22, 2002 at home.

She was born in Georgetown Pennsylvania on August 12, 1924, the daughter of the late Walter M. and Mildred Finley Reed.

Mrs. Edwards, living her entire life in the Chester area, was a wife, mother and a homemaker. She was a 1942 graduate of Midland High School, attended the First United Methodist Church of Chester and enjoyed playing cards with many different Card Clubs in the Chester area.

Her husband, Robert H. Edwards, whom she married May 10, 1947, died February 15, 1988.

She is survived by a daughter, Paula L. Emmerling and her husband, David of Chester, W. VA; a son, Robert G. Edwards of New Cumberland, W, VA; two brothers, John "Jack" Finley of Portland, Maine and Melvin Gary "Petes" Reed of Georgetown, PA; 3 grandchildren, Peggy L. Emmerling of Chester, W. VA, Robert B. Edwards of Chester, W. VA. and Miranda Edwards of New Cumberland and a dear friend, Wilma Elliott of Chester, W. WV.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Walter "Buzz" Reed.

Services will be held at the Calcutta Chapel of the Martin-MacLean-Altmeyer Funeral Homes, 15872 St. Clair Avenue, Calcutta, Ohio on Monday, November 25, 2002 at 10:30 AM with Evangelist, Frank Higganbotham of the Chester Church of Christ, officiating.

Burial will be in Mill Creek Cemetery in Hookstown, PA.

The family will be present to receive friends at the Calcutta Chapel on Sunday, November 24, 2002 from 12:30 to 3:30 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
