Margaret Jewell Straub

STRAUB, Margaret Jewell, 84, of Bethlehem, WV, died Saturday March 30, 2002, in the Bishop Joseph H. Hodges Continuous Care Center, Wheeling. She was retired from the former Reichart Furniture Store, Wheeling, and a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew G. Straub; her parents, John Ford and Arrissa Peters Jewell; a brother, John Jewell; five sisters, Catherine Haines, Mary Snedeker, Rachael Kanable, Sadie Carter and Opal Hildebrand. Surviving are a son, Andrew R. Straub and his wife, Linda, of Brunswick, Ohio; a daughter, Jewell A. Morgan and her husband, Carl W. Bill of Bethlehem; a brother, Robert Jewell of Charlotte, NC; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; several nephews and nieces. Friends will be received 2-4 and 6-8pm Tuesday at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 154 Kruger St, Elm Grove, where vigil services will be held at 7pm Tuesday. Funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 9am Wednesday, at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, with the Rev. Frank O’Kruta as celebrant. Interment in Mt Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.
