OBITUARY NOTICE

Margaret A. Kountz
Age 78

Margaret A. Kountz 78, of LaCroft Avenue, East Liverpool, OH passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at home following a lengthy illness.

She was born in Ohioville, PA on November 17, 1930 and was a daughter of the late Cecil and Freda Wright Conley. Mrs. Kountz retired in 1993 from the J.C. Penny Company where she was an associate and had previously worked at the former Smith’s Bakery. She attended East Liverpool High School, sang in the LaCroft Mother’s Choir and was a member of LaCroft Church of the Nazarene.

Mrs. Kountz was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Dale Kountz on June 21, 1974.

She is survived by three daughters, Judy Dunn and her husband, Terry and Marlene Evans both of East Liverpool, OH and Cindy White of Holiday, FL; two brothers, John L. R. Conley, Sr. and Jerry Conley, both of Salem, Oregon; a sister, Dorothy Scott of Mineral Ridge, OH; seven grandchildren, Myndi Linko, Ryan White, Douglas Evans, Chad White, Todd Evans, Jessica Walser and Andrew Evans; eleven great-grandchildren, Rayven White, Rylee White, Hayleigh White, Cinise White, Donaven White, Mersades Walser, Jackson Linko, Carmine Walser, Lexie Wrightsman, Evan Linko, Kylee Evans and and several
nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, a brother, Cecil Conley, Jr. and four sisters, Norma Jean Conley, Frances McPeek, Mable Beagle and Helen Beagle preceded her in death.

Services will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2009 at 1:00 PM at the Calcutta Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes with Pastor Dirk Hall of the Wellsville Church of the Nazarene, officiating.

Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.

The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home in Calcutta on Saturday, from 11:00 AM up until the time of the service at 1:00 PM.

Memorial contributions may be made to the LaCroft Station of the Liverpool Township Fire Department.

I have wonderful memories of Uncle Milton and Aunt Margaret from my childhood. You are in my heart as you endure this difficult time in your lives. I am positive Aunt Margaret is at peace as she has been reunited with the love of her life. This makes me smile. Love Darlene
