MILLER, Madeline Margaret Kury, 90, of Mill-Acres, Elm Grove, Wheeling WV died Wednesday March 23, 2005, at Beacon House, St. Clairsville Ohio.
Born in Pittsburgh PA on June 21, 1914, Madeline was the daughter of the late George and Margaret Schafer Kury. She was retired from Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, Pittsburgh Pa and a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. She was the past president of the Wheeling Newcomers Club and a member of the Wheeling Hospital Ladies Auxiliary.
In addition to her parents, Madeline was preceded in death by her husband Charles R. Miller; two sisters, Rita Marie Kury and Florence Martin and two brothers, Andrew Kury and Joseph Kury.
Surviving are one son, Richard Miller and his wife Cathy of St. Clairsville OH; two grandchildren, Joshua Bock of Bridgeport OH and Jessica Bock of New Brighton PA.;
one niece, Joyce Healy of New York, New York; three nephews, Larry and David Kury of California and Marty Kury of Pittsburgh PA.
Friends will be received at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 154 Kruger Street Elm Grove on Saturday, March 26, 2005 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at 10am on Monday, March 28, 2005, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Elm Grove with the Rev. John Sullivan as celebrant. Entombment in Resurrection Cemetery, Corapolis PA. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 2244 Marshall Ave Wheeling WV 26003.

I only knew her for three short weeks but she was a kind lady with a positive attitude. I was looking forward to knowing her better. Her kindness touched everyone at Beacon House.
