Obituary for:
Luenell Jackson
Age: 84

Luenell Jackson, 84 of 14th Street, Wellsville, OH died on Monday, March 31, 2008 following a brief illness. She was born in Amhurst, VA on August 17, 1923, a daughter of the late John and Mary Campbell Jackson.

Living most of her life in this area, she was a domestic for several area families and a graduate of Wellsville High School, Class of 1942. Mrs. Jackson was a member of the First Baptist Church in Wellsville where she song in the choir.

Her husband, Wilmer Jackson, whom she married in 1946, died in 1979.

One son: Sherrill Jackson of St. Clairsville, OH; one daughter: Mrs. Eddie Glenda Mike of Wellsville, OH; several grandchildren and seven great grandchildren survive her.

Besides her parents and husband, a daughter: Marlene Jackson; four brothers and five sisters preceded her in death.

Services will be held at the First Baptist Church in Wellsville on Saturday, April 5, 2008 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Roosevelt Thompson of the church officiating.

Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.

The family will be present to receive friends at the Wellsville Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Friday, April 4, 2008 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM.
