CARL, Louis R., of Frazier Avenue, Mozart, died Saturday February 16, 2002 at home. He was 91. Louis was born March 23, 1910 in Wheeling, a son of the late Harry A. F. and Ceclia Thomas Carl. Hew was a retired maintenance supervisor at Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel-Martins Ferry Plant and was a member of the A.A.R.P. and a former member of the B.P.O.E. #28, Wheeling. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Armstrong Carl; a daughter, Marjorie J. Carl and two sisters, Wilma Levy and Jesse Drahos. Surviving are a son, Louis W. Carl of Wheeling; a sister, Ruth Miller and her husband Clarence Bud of Wheeling and several neices and nephews. Friends wil be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m on Monday at Altmeer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff Street, Wheeling, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday February 19, 2002. Interment will be in Halcyon Hills Memorial Gardens, Sherrard. Memorial contributions may be made to the Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2 Richmond Avenue, Wheeling.
