I was saddened to learn of Linda’s passing. We had worked together on our Maury High School Reunion Committee and Linda’s contributions to our planning were valued by us all. Please accept my sincere sympathy at the loss your family has experienced.

I was saddened to read of Linda’s passing. She was my best friend in early elementary school-Willard in Norfolk. She had all the daring and “sass” that I lacked and we often ended up in childhood situations that perplexed my parents. I loved her for being my friend and will always cherish those memories of her. My deepest sympathy.

In losing Linda, I lose my oldest friend & most loving supporter. Linda was my best friend to say the least and my sidekick in so many crazy adventures in our earlier years. If you knew her to any extent, you know she was a tremendously talented writer, entertainer and an amazingly quick wit. I was privileged to perform in one of her plays, watch her entertain a crowd and be captivated by her stories. I know all of you who knew her have shared in these moments. Linda was unique and I love her for that. I will miss her.

Linda

I am going to miss you so much. I have lost a dear friend and gardening buddy. I can remember how we used to spend hours talking about what was blooming and growing in our gardens. During those times you shared your life and stories with me. Your zest for words, your wisdom, your love for animals, and your fondness for all things beautiful will always be with me. I celebrate you and my opportunity to have spent precious time in your company. I am so lucky to have been able to call you a friend.

Linda was a great friend and neighbor. I have wonderful memories of our multiple yard projects, work at BRC, and yard saling when she was in Norfolk and later, getting together in Maryland and North Carolina when she settled there.

Linda was a true friend. We shared many serious conversations, and numerous jokes and puns. Her bright optimism and sens of humor will be sorely missed. Our thanks to Carolyn for the excellent care she gave Linda these past few months.
