Norfolk-Lillian Trovato, 93, passed into eternal peace on May 4th, 2008 preceded by her husband, Dominick and son, Aaron. Lillian was born in Boston on November 17, 1914. In 1980, she moved from Queens, New York to Virginia Beach. She moved into the newly built Russell House where she resided for 27 years. She will be dearly missed by her surviving sons, Vincent and Gerald, daughter in laws, Toby and Beth, 3 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Norfolk on May 6th 2008 at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Association of the Blind or the American Cancer Society. Altmeyer Funeral Home, 5792 Greenwich Road is handling arrangements.

Although I did not know you personally, I did get to know your son Vincent when he came to The Hipage Co to be our Import Supervisor. You did a great job with him and I’m sure you did the same with your other children. My prayers are with your family and know that their sorrow will become less and less with each and every passing day. God’s peace be with you.
