Rusty, We wanted to be there today for support but circumstances made that impossible. I think that Lila is the perfect example of what everyone of us should be like. Surround yourself with good people during this transition.Your parents was very proud of you and thank you for being such a support person for Aunt Lila during her illness and treatments. She is missed as well as Uncle Emmett. Love you, call anytime or e-mail.I’ll always remember “Thomas Q Turkey”. :

To Lila’a son and all her family:

Lila was one of my best friends in high school. We didn’t stay in touch much over the last years since I moved to Florida, but I’m glad we exchanged a little correspondence a few months ago.

I shall miss her greatly. And I thank God for her friendship. My best to you all.

We were so upset to hear of Aunt Lila’s passing. She will be greatly missed by anyone who knew her as she was an asset to all of those around her. Please keep in touch and let us know if there is anything that we can do. We love you.
