A great man, a great friend, who will be sadly missed by the neighbors next door. The kids had adopted him as another grandfather. He is finally at home, at peace, in a better place.

Luetta and family — we are truly sorry for your loss and will keep you in our prayers. Remain strong in your faith and if you need anything – you know where we are.

Aunt Luetta and family,

I’m very sorry for the loss of your husband, father and grandfather. I have lots of fond memories of Uncle Lewis as I grew up on Dixon Hill, from the funny voices he would make to get us to laugh as kids, to rabbit hunting and leading worship at church. He displayed many great traits for a boy to look up too.

When I heard the news of his passing God impressed a few verses on my heart. The first is Hebrews12:1 “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great crowd of witnesses , let us lay aside every encumberance and sin which so easily entangles us. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.” and 1 Corinthians 9:24 “Do not all thouse who run in a race run , but only one receives the prize? So run in such a way that you win!” Lewis Trigg has won. He has already heard the words from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, “Well done good and faithful servant. Enter into my rest.”

I’m very sorry we cannot attend the funeral but our prayers are with you.

Love you.

The Trigg Family

I am sorry for your loss. When I read Lewis name I saw him standing up in the front of the church leading singing. He had a wonderful voice. I am sure he is singing right now, I picture my aunt Anna Ponsetti singing with him. Just as they had done for so many years at St joe. I will keep the family in my prayers at this time.
