A colleague at Bryant & Stratton College, family friend, and “rabbi” to the children of Baylake United Methodist Church one who explained the Jewish faith to them,Lew brightned our life in the classroom, at our dinner table, and as a conversationist about almost any topic. He embodied the spirit of the teacher, a “rabbi,” to all who knew him. Go with God, Lew.

Dear Lew,

The beautiful service today and poignant entries in this guest book are a testament to the extent of your reach… All whom you have touched – relatives, friends, neighbors, colleagues and students – are better for it. Thank you for brightening our lives and for being such a sweet man; and thank you, Lew and Marlene, for giving us Marcy, our wonderful sister-in-law and aunt.

To Marlene, Marcy, and Jodi; to Ed, Andrew, Sasha, Stuart, Paul and Stephanie, we wish you strength and peace.

With much love,

Dear Marlene, Marcy, and Jodi,

I worked with Lew for twelve years at Nesson’s. He was my shoulder to cry on, my sounding board for ideas, and my ear for venting. He was my mentor, and I like to think, my friend. I shall never forget his kindness to me.

Please know that you are in my prayers and that G-d will surround you with his love and give you strength in this time of pain.

To the family of Lew Goldsticker,

To the family of Lew Goldsticker:

I offer my condolences for your loss. Lew and I had many less-than-serious times at Bryant & Stratton College and, especially, during our various road trips associated with the College. When he and I were around one-another, anyone was fair game. We joked and laughed and generally just had a good time. Lew was a special man and I will truly miss him.

I will keep all of you in my prayers and thoughts.
