Leroy Stanton Fotheringham
Leroy Stanton Fotheringham, 82, of Gardendale Avenue, East Liverpool, Ohio died Monday, April 16, 2001 at East Liverpool Convalescent Center #1 following a brief illness.
He was born in East Liveprool, Ohio on April 24, 1918 and was the son of the late Harry and Della Taylor Fotheringham, formerly of Erie Street ion East Liverpool.
Mr. Fotheringham, a life long area resident, retired from the US Postal Service where he worked in maintenance. He served with the US Army during World War II, where he was wounded in action.
He is survived by his wife, Pruella George Fotheringham of 55 years.
Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Fotheringham, formerly of Florida.
Services will be held at the Calcutta Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Friday, April 20, 2001 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Paul Sturm of Rainbow Ministries, officiating.
Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home in Calcutta one hour prior to the service on Friday.
