Leonora Nora Agnes Springhetti, 80, of Lafferty, Ohio, died Tuesday, June 17, at her home.
She was born February 14, 1928 in Avela, PA., a daughter of the late Leon and Josephine Cizeski Voydock.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Lafferty and the St. Clairsville Senior Citizens.
Nora was preceded in death by her husband, James Springhetti, a granddaughter, Carrie Thomas, two brothers; Victor Voydock and Francis Zemalong and four sisters; Helen Ziemba, Mary Fogle, Kay Kanoski and Vicky Sayre.
Surviving are her children; Debbie Paul Thomas, Centerville, Ohio, Eugene Lucci Springhetti, Remington, VA., Beverly Doug French, Barnesville, Ohio, eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 5-8 PM, Wednesday, June 18, 2008, at the Beck-Altmeyer Funeral Home & Crematory, 204 West Main Street, St. Clairsville, Ohio 43950, where a vigil service will be held at 7:30 PM.
A Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Thursday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Lafferty, Ohio, with Father Frederick Kihm the celebrant.
Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
