Lena K. Cipressi, 94, of Bellaire, Ohio died Saturday May 17, 2008 at the Bishop Joseph H. Hodges Continuous Care Center in Wheeling, West Virginia.

She was born May 12, 1914 in Bellaire, Ohio a daughter of the late John and Marie Testa Costanzo.

Lena was a Catholic by faith and a member of the IAC Auxiliary.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Antonio “Tony” Cipressi on August 24, 1964, one stepson, Richard Cipressi, one brother, Albert Costanzo, one sister, Rose Iagnemma, halfbrother, Mario and one halfsister, Gilda.

Surviving are her daughter, Antionette F. Maffe of Dillonvale, Ohio, one sister, Clara, four grandchildren, Richard Clark, Mark Clark, Josette Albert and Tony Maffe and five great granchildren, Ricky Clark, Natalie Clark, Sarah Clark, Stephanie Clark and Donte Lewis.

Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 441 37th Street Bellaire, Ohio on Monday from 2 to 8 pm where services will be held on Tuesday at 11 am with Msgr. Gene W. Mullett officiating.

Interment in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Bellaire, Ohio.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Bishop Joseph H. Hodges Continuous Care Center, Patient Activity Fund, Medical Park, Wheeling, West Virginia 26003.

Toni and Family,

We were so sorry to learn of Lena’s passing away. I know how close all of her family was to her and I want you to know that you have our deepest sympathy. We will keep you in our prayers.

Tony and Family,

I’m sorry for the loss of your grandma. I remember all the times when we were kids and we’d go to her house to get a little bit of change so we could buy some candy. She’ll be missed.
