Lawrence E. Connor

Lawrence Edward Connor, 80, of McMechen died Jan. 10, 2002 in Wheeling, WV. He was a retired truck driver for the former CCC Highways; a member and officer of the Teamsters; and a US Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son; and two brothers. Surviving are his wife, Catherine; a son, JerryCarol Connor, two daughters, Mrs. RichardSandra J. Kidder and Jeanie Mason; a brother, GeorgeLon Connor, a sister, Mrs. Frank Diana Mitchell, 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Friends recieved Friday 2-4/6-8 pm at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 214 Marshall Street, McMechen where services will be held Sat at 1 pm. Interment in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling, WV.
