Dear Family of Laura — Vic and I were shocked and saddened to hear of Laura’s sudden death, yet relieved that, for her, it was quick and painless. We deeply regret we will be unable to attend her service tomorrow but, at the appointed hour, we will pause in remembrance of her gentle wisdom, her quiet strength, her shining eyes, her welcoming smile. We will thank God for her life, so well-lived, and for that part of her life that touched ours in such special ways. She was a FINE lady, and we will remember her, fondly and thankfully, forever. Please accept our deepest sympathy and love, not just at this sad hour, but during the days and months ahead.

Hey Grandmamma! I never knew that you had a guestbook or else I would have written to you all the time! I really am sorry that I had no idea. But now that I know I will probably write all the time now. But anyways.. as you know Uncle Pete passed away. His viewing is tonight and the funeral is tomorrow. Gosh I love you Grandma. I miss you so much! I have so much to tell you though! But I’ll have to write again later because I’m at work. I love you Grandma. Keep shining down on us. =
