Laura E.Bell, 81 of Shadyside, formerly of Bellaire, Ohio, went home to meet our Lord on the 31st day of March 2002 at Peterson Hospital.
She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother that was born on the 28th day of October in the year of our Lord 1920, in Tyler County, West Virginia, daughter of the late David L. and Rena Belle Jacobs Rice.
She was met at heavens gates by her loving husband of 49 years, George M. Bell, her precious daughter, Helen, and an infant grandson.
Also preceded in death by brothers, Earl, Clarence, Burl, Ernest, and Jerry Rice, and sisters, Opal Cox, Maggie Mercer, and Mary Tuttle all of the Tyler
County area of West Virginia.
She was a retired employee of the Bristol Motor Lodge, Bristol, Pa. and was Pentacostal by faith.
She will be sadly missed by her three sons: Harold of Shadyside; Gary of Glencoe; David of Belmont; a daughter, Patti Phillips of Shadyside. Grandmother of nine; Harold Bell, Jr., Richard Bell, Samuel Phillips, Laura Phillips, Penny Phillips, David Bell, Jr., George Bell, Jacob Bell, and Nathan Bell. Great Grandmother of five great grandchildren, Christy Bell, Amanda Bell, Brian Frankhouser, Alicia Price, and Samantha Phillips, and a sister of Lula Early of Paden City, West Virginia.
Friends are invited to attend visitation from 2-4 and 7-9 PM Thursday at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home, 441-37th Street, Bellaire, Ohio, where services will be held on Friday at Noon with Reverend William Frasnelli officiating. Interment will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
